Let's get started with the questions!Read on to find out what he has to say about various things we asked him about.

Questions:
Thanks a lot for asking me to respond on such questions. My remark is absolutely personal and bears no resemblance to policies and procedures.

1)As a youngster, what was your source of inspiration to become a scientist eventually?

I had a fascination to do something unique for my country since my childhood. I was flying the paper rocket and was getting amazed by the aerodynamics it was creating while flying. I always wanted to make something which could carry our nation to the top.Of course, after coming to DRDO,the first person who influenced me was Dr.Kalam.His patriotism and commitment inspired me to script history which the nation will be proud of.Since then,I have been trying relentlessly to make it possible.

2)After the recent developments in Afghanistan,do you think India is all geared up for any security threat,if any,in our territories?

Gearing up against security threat is a continuous process for every nation.India with its huge coastline and sharing border with multiple nations has one of the greatest challenges. However, technology and infrastructure with the best scientific brain and committed soldiers along frontiers always reassures us regarding our preparedness. Coastal Surveillance and Security,Border Surveillance,Electro Optic Defence and various other such technologies command the border today.

3)Where do you see India in the next 10 years as a country actively participating in the development of defence resources ?

India in the coming decade is going to be the world leader in Defence Technology.I have no doubt on this. With huge infrastructure, great brains, committed Industries, our offset policies and above all the mission of Atmanirbhar Bharat will transform this country as a Global Super power in Defence Technology.

4)There has been this notion that our governments, irrespective of their political affiliation, has always been stringent regarding the expenditure on Defence.
The budget of the Ministry of Defence has grown at an annual average rate of 9%.Do you think this needs to be hiked in order to be a global superpower?

Any country's defence power is reflected quite a bit from its budget.Government is having a huge support for Defence R&D.I am sure with the current budget,we can achieve our goal.If needed, government is going to support us.In fact with so much of indigenisation and restriction on import, budget requirement may not rise.

5)What advice would you give to a 20 year old millennials in India today?

You all are the biggest assets comprising more than 10 % of our strength. It is a huge number. Transformation of a nation starts from you. Country looks for niche ideas and implementation from you.You hold the culture, technology, dream and aspiration of 130 crore Indians.Chase your passion. The task is massive infront of you. What we push today will be your assignment for tomorrow.Unless the continuity is maintained,a country can not shine. You need to be involved in the shared vision of the nation. You need to initiate the drive for the better tomorrow. With Atmanirbhar Bharat, import is getting choked.Export is opening up.,Huge challenge for the entire nation.End of the day, never forget that the food you take, the breathe you do and the roof you get is of this nation. Love your mother and love your Motherland! Have a pride for our country.Every product of this country has to be the best because there is an emotion of every achiever which blends in every product. Deliver back to this beautiful nation.Let us give every Indian a reason to smile. With this, our nation will be the best in the world!
May God Bless you!

All of us can learn one very vital lesson from this interview.Whatever be our political affiliation,we must keep faith in our country's armed forces. When an insider who holds a portfolio of such massive responsibility can guarantee that, all of us are quite safe, why should we question the legitimacy of our security forces.

Moreover, when he is optimistic about the overall development of the nation, why we cannot do so.Let's try to create a difference everyday which would benefit our country.

#Cancelled: But Is Justice Having a Blast?

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me”. That's an old saying some of us have heard for years, but our words are genuinely powerful today. If you are not careful, one wrong word or move could get you cancelled. In the age of digital technology, past and present events are accessible at any time with a click. It has always been a challenging time to summon groups of people to join the public fray to challenge others online for past words or actions. In the digital age, past actions regarded as incongruent with current norms are subject to criticism and rebuke. This phenomenon is now commonly called “cancel culture,” a strategy by groups of individuals using social pressure to shun a target accused of offensive words or deeds. The concept of cancel culture lacks a universally agreed-upon definition. Most definitions centre around themes of accountability but diverge regarding their impact. Cancel culture is a blend of fun and fury that exposes

But in these recent weeks, the spike in the COVID cases is a cause of worry for all of us. On the other side many health workers are resigning. There has been oxygen scarcity in the country. Many people are dying for lack of oxygen. It is the government who is controlling the availability of oxygen in the hospitals as per need. If the government cannot make it possible to arrange for the oxygen then how can the health workers save the patients. It is practically impossible on the part of the health work
